The legal basis for processing your personal information for the purposes listed above is compiling and completing the rental contract and compliance with the company's general terms and conditions.

WHEN PERSONAL DATA ARE NOT PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM THE PERSON WHOSE INFORMATION IS PROVIDED

We process the personal information that is required for the above purposes and when they are not collected directly from the person whose data is being processed by the lessee, driver 1 or driver 2.

Providing your personal information is required to complete and fill in the rental contract and if you do not provide the information that is necessary for a particular type of contract, we will not be able to conclude the rental contract.

In such case, the transfer of personal data will take place only if The European Commission has confirmed that a third country meets a certain level of data protection or if there is adequate information security in accordance with applicable law. You have the following rights when it comes to your data:

Right to Access - You can request access to your personal information and verify that your is processed personal data.

Right to Correction - You can request that Zagstel d.o.o. correct personal information that is inaccurate or invalid.

Right to delete (right to forget) - you can request that Zagstel d.o.o. delete your personal information if one of the following conditions is met:

a. personal data is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise worked;

b. file an objection to automated decision making and there are no stronger legitimate grounds for the processing, or filing a complaint for processing for direct marketing;

c. personal data are illegally processed;

d. personal data must be deleted by a mandate based on European Union law or based on rights and regulations of the Republic of Croatia

Limitation right:
You can request that Zagstel d.o.o. restricts processing of your Personal information if one of the following is true:

a. You dispute the accuracy of your personal data during the period allowed by Zagstel d.o.o to verify the accuracy of your personal information;

b. Processing is illegal, and you are opposed to deleting your personal data and instead requesting limiting its use;

c. Zagstel d.o.o. no longer needs personal data for processing purposes, but you need it for establishment, enforcement or defense of legal requirements;

d. You have filed a complaint against processing on the basis of the right to object to the automated filing of the decision to check whether our legitimate interests are beyond your interests

In case you have requested processing limitation, Zagstel d.o.o. will notify you before limitation will come into force.

The right to portability - you can request that Zagstel d.o.o. uploads personal information that you provided, to another manager of processing and / or requesting the receipt of your personal data in a structured, readable format.
The right to objection - You can file a complaint about processing your personal information by Zagstel, e.g. for direct marketing or, in another situation, in accordance with the regulations of the Republic of Croatia, by providing a notice to the Data Protection Officer.

Your personal information you have provided as a party for the purpose of concluding and fulfilling a lease agreement for a vehicle, are kept as long as necessary to achieve the purpose for which we handle them. Criteria based on which we determine the period of retention of personal data is solely the purpose of collecting, the term of the lease contract, the statutory limitation of claims prescribed by law or a specific provision or another law obliging us to keep certain data for a certain amount of time.
